My name is Ryann Creary and I have lived in the Currumbin/Palm Beach community for the past 35 years. I have been training Jiu Jitsu ( BJJ ) since 2008 and teaching Jiu Jitsu since 2012, with the majority of my Jiu Jitsu development being here on the Gold Coast. I am the former co-founder of Flow Martial Arts in Coolangatta, a former school manager/head coach at Infinity Martial Arts in Springfield, and have taught at Gracie Barra Surfers Paradise, Carlson Gracie Gold Coast, and CMBT Training Centre. I have a passion for Jiu Jitsu, and especially teaching Jiu Jitsu, and am grateful to be in a position where I can share this beautiful martial art/sport with others.

    COACH

    Joel has been training Jiu Jitsu for 10 years and has achieved the rank of black belt. Joel has competed extensively, with his major competitive achievements being a no-gi gold medal at the Australian Nationals as a blue belt in 2016, gold at the IBJJF Sydney Open no-gi as a purple belt, and more recently earning silver in the Grappling Industries Melbourne absolute no-gi division (all belt levels, all weights) in 2019. Joel currently runs his own electrical business.

    COACH

    Ben has been training Jiu Jitsu for 12 years and has achieved the rank of black belt. Ben has previously earned a black belt in Taekwondo and has trained in boxing for 3-4 years. Ben has recently returned to competition earning gold at the NSW Winter Cup, and gold and silver at the Sunshine Coast Open. Ben is currently completing a degree in Sports and Exercise Science where he is working toward becoming an accredited Exercise Physiologist. Ben is currently working as a physical trainer out of ACTV Strength Co.

  • Kogar Cetinich (Purple Belt)

    COACH

    Kogar has been training Jiu Jitsu for 4 years and is the first student to achieve the rank of purple belt in Jiu Jitsu at Rhythm. Kogar has medalled in numerous local tournaments. As a blue belt he won the blue/purple belt division at the Battle Royale. More recently he earned bronze in the Grappling Industries No-Gi Absolute Division. Kogar is an electrician by trade, and is currently working as a project manager.
