Beginners
Our Beginners classes are for students entirely new to Jiu Jitsu, and up to the rank of white belt 4 stripes. These classes focus on the fundamental movements and techniques of Jiu Jitsu. Students will be introduced to Jiu Jitsu for self defence. Students will also learn about safety when training Jiu Jitsu.
All Levels
Our All Levels classes are focused on providing a class which caters to students of all belt levels. Students will be provided both beginner and advanced options of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu movements and techniques so that all students can improve in their study of Jiu Jitsu.
Advanced
Our Advanced classes are specifically designed for advanced students who have achieved the rank of blue belt and above. These classes will focus on a deeper study of the advanced movements and techniques of Jiu Jitsu, with an emphasis on developing a capacity for self-directed Jiu Jitsu problem solving.
Gi
Gi classes are those where students wear the traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu uniform known as the gi.
Submission Grappling (No-Gi)
No-gi classes are those where students wear the uniform of grappling shorts and a rash guar
open mat
This is an open session of sparring. These classes do not have coach-guided technical instruction.
drills (Free/guided)
Free drills is a timeslot where students have the opportunity to work on their own Jiu Jitsu games with their training partners. This class does not have guided technical instruction. Conversely, guided drills is a timeslot where the instructor teaches combinations of related techniques and pathways for the entirety of the class. There is no live rolling (sparring) in these classes.
